Richard began his career in Energy after completing his bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Calgary. Over the next 12 years, Richard would provide technical consulting services in the areas of regulatory program management and operations, exposing him to emissions reporting and how under-utilized technology and data analysis is in the field. His experience and formal education have allowed him to develop software tools that saved thousands of man- hours and create all new optimization opportunities for companies around the globe.

Ross started his programming career at Loblaws, the largest private employer in Canada, building tech systems to drive company growth and efficiency. He then became a lead developer of optimization and simulation software in the gas compression field. After the sale of the gas compression software company, Ross started a tech firm specializing in converting paper-based Oil & Gas exploration systems to a digital knowledge base. His firm also amalgamated publicly-available government data into a simplified searchable website. While active as a tech consultant, Ross has developed digital tools that support air quality monitoring and management, aiding the reporting of substance exceedances to provincial governments.

Richard Maksymetz is a public affairs professional and a seasoned political advisor with over 20 years of experience. Additionally, he served as an advisor on Western and Northern Canada in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition and is currently the Chair of the Board of the United Nations Association in Canada.

Brian has successfully led numerous projects in both established and emerging markets, gaining extensive experience in optimizing processes and implementing change management strategies that prioritize health, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Tom has assembled and structured $1.5B of investment for stimulating and growing innovative capacity for public and private clients and is also currently a director with Viresco Solutions Inc., advising corporations on their end-to-end carbon roadmaps.
